Saturday, Jan 14 3:30 – 4:30 – Hopkinton Arts Center
- Martin Luther King, Jr Song Circle
Monday, Jan 16: All events held at Middle School
- 9AM: Breakfast from South St Dunkin’ Donuts (Hallway outside Brown Gym/Auditorium)
- 9AM: HHS Boys Basketball v Respite Center (Athletes – Middle School Brown Gym)
- 10AM-2:30PM: American Red Cross Blood Drive, (Cafeteria – sign up online with Red Cross or walk-in)
- 10 AM: Speaker Dan Norton – MS Auditorium
- 10:30AM-2PM: Service Activities for Youth Brown Gym
Troop 1 is collecting food for Project Just Because in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Monday, January 16). Our goal is to collect items that Project Just Because need around this time of the year. Examples of these items noted on their website (http://projectjustbecause.org/) are:
- Waterproof mittens & hats – all sizes
- Warm Blankets – all sizes
- Warm Pajamas – size 8 & up
- Teen boy hoodies – all sizes
- Electric razors for teen boys
- Scarves for teen girls
- Any Disney toys – PJ Masks, etc
- Legos – Star Wars, etc
- Craft kits – for girls age 8 & up
- Full size sports balls
- Gift cards for warm clothes – TJ Maxx, Target, etc
- Underwear & socks – all sizes
- As well as non-perishable food items, such as cereal and individually packed snacks.
